Networking Pink used to be an established networking event business that organised property related networking events for Property Investors and Professionals. Due to my change in career I decided to cease hosting the property events and setup a Kent Women’s Networking event for Women in Business.

Im Zoe Cairns, some of you may already know me. I am a Mortgage Broker by day! And Social Media Trainer, Consultant and Speaker as well! Weird combination your probably thinking but I will share with you my story.

About three years ago the recession started to hit, and I was sat behind my desk as a Mortgage Broker thinking if I dont get up and go and find some clients Im not going to be sitting here this time next year! As clients definately werent walking through the door! So what I did was I went home and started to consider property networking events and social media marketing.

Everyone was talking about Facebook at the time, and I thought it was for youngsters at university to share the happenings in their personal lifes! Well I started to experiment, I went onto facebook and had some fantastic findings that took my mortgage broking career to another level! I was able to build a database of new potential clients that I never realised I could achieve!

From my success with social media I was able to build Networking Pink – Pink standing for Property Investors Networking Knowledge. My first ever property networking event launched in January 2009 were I had over 80 people turn up! 80 potential new clients I was able to stand in front of and present to! It was fantastic!

Two years on I am sharing my strategies, tips and techniques on how to use Social Media with individuals, local businesses and franchises to take their business to the next level online!

Now I am setting up Networking Pink as a Kent Womens Business Network where women in business can get together, network, share knowledge and resources and build a community of connections.

Networking Pink will run once a month and will be catered to how the ladies would like the meeting to go, and how they can get the best experience from the meeting.
